RADVISION Enters Into Commercial Framework Agreement with China’s TD-SCDMA Industry Alliance

RADVISION (Nasdaq: RVSN), a leading provider of video network infrastructure and developer tools for unified visual communications over IP, 3G, and emerging next-generation IMS networks, today announced it has entered into a commercial framework agreement with the TDIA (TD-SCDMA Industry Alliance), an organization of Chinese enterprises and institutions who are actively committed to advancing TD-SCDMA research and development, production, manufacture and services to advance and promote the TD-SCDMA standard.

Under to the agreement, TDIA members are permitted to purchase the RADVISION 3G-324M Toolkit and will receive support and commercial assistance. “TDIA members are gaining access to the ideal 3G-324M stack in the market, said Mr.Yang Hua, Secretary-General of TDIA. “We believe this agreement will further our goal of advancing the TD-SCDMA standard.”

Over the past year, the number of companies developing 3G-324M handsets using the RADVISION 3G-324M stack to develop TD-SCDMA handsets outside of China has increased significantly, along with the growth in 3G-324M in general. RADVISION has a strong pipeline of users who have initiated licensing arrangements.
