CHICAGO (May 07, 2009) –

Microsoft Outlook® and Lotus® Notes users are just a click away from their next video conference thanks to InterCall Video Online, a first-of-its-kind web-based scheduling tool that allows InterCall customers the luxury of using their calendar system to schedule and automatically launch conferences.

“InterCall’s customers will find great value in being able to reserve video conferences through tools they are already familiar with, and we’re committed to leading the way with innovations that make the process even easier,” said Warren Baxley, vice president of product management and development at InterCall. “InterCall Video Online enables customers to work through the scheduling model they find the most useful, whether they’re taking advantage of our global video bridging or bridging within their own network.”

The new integration eliminates the need for logins and passwords to manage video conferences. Once the add-in is installed in Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes, a single click within their calendar enables users to book their next InterCall video conference with their own video conferencing locations. The system also launches a conference from the location that provides the lowest cost to the customer.
