InterCall and Reliance Form Partnership to Improve Call Quality and Conferencing Capacity

CHICAGO, Ill. (April 30, 2007) –

InterCall has formed a strategic alliance with Reliance Communications to deliver integrated audio conferencing solutions to its millions of customers in India.

“India is one of the fastest growing global business centers in the world,” said Scott Etzler, president of InterCall. “This local-level solution links India to our high quality global network and support centers for all calls generated from and throughout India.”

The new global connection centers create a unique position for InterCall to provide reliable, high-quality conferencing solutions for global businesses and allows for higher call capacity and instant accessibility to conferences launched in India. Conference callers can now host and/or join conferences using local dial-in numbers from most major cities throughout India.

Conferencing accounts for 70 percent of all meetings and is now the preferred option for many companies who conduct employee training, particularly those with a workforce that is spread out across the country or on the other side of the world. The visual nature and interactive features of desktop Web conferencing provide a more productive learning environment than being in a live classroom.

“We are pleased to partner with InterCall which will enable us to bring into the country the most sophisticated conferencing service ever offered,” said Prakash Bajpai, president & CEO, Enterprise Business, Reliance Communications. “The coming together of the communications and conferencing giants augurs well for our fast developing country and it will significantly expand our value proposition to end users. We look forward to a growing and fruitful business relationship with InterCall.”

Conferencing in India has significantly increased in the last 12 months, making India one of the fastest growing conferencing countries in the world and according to Wainhouse Research, it’s expected to continue to grow aggressively over the next 5 years.
