e-Learning Company to Embed iLinc’s Virtual Classroom Software into LMS

iLinc Communications, Inc. (AMEX:ILC), developers of Web conferencing software and audio conferencing solutions, today announced that the Company has signed a partnership agreement with KnowledgePlanet, a leading On-Demand Learning provider. KnowledgePlanet will fully integrate iLinc’s virtual classroom software into their best of class on-demand learning management system (LMS) and offer it as a bundled solution to KnowledgePlanet’s customers.

Headquartered in Pennsylvania, KnowledgePlanet is a recognized leader in learning software and solutions. The company introduced the World’s first Web-based learning management system in 1996 and has been identified by Gartner Research as an industry leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant e-Learning Suites report for six consecutive years. As a part of the OEM agreement, KnowledgePlanet is also permitted to expand its sales efforts within their customer base to capture untapped Web collaboration enterprise sales outside the training departments where appropriate. LearnLinc provides a live, Web-based training experience with multiple feedback tools and online testing for real-time, collaborative interactive learning. The LearnLinc classroom capabilities will be accessible directly through KnowledgePlanet’s On-Demand Learning suite, which the two companies plan to launch later this year.
