Independent Research Firm Names iLinc as a Strong Performer

PHOENIX, Arizona (June 08, 2006) –

iLinc Communications, Inc. (AMEX:ILC), developers of Web conferencing software and audio conferencing solutions, today announced that Forrester Research has named iLinc as a Strong Performer in their recent report titled The Forrester Wave(TM): Web Conferencing, Q2 2006. The report, which was published this week, evaluated Web conferencing vendors over the past 9 months against 108 criteria to determine the market leaders. Forrester selected only 6 vendors to participate in the report, using a combination of data sources to assess the strengths and weaknesses of each solution including online lab evaluations, product demonstrations and customer reference calls.

Not all of the vendors invited to participate initially met the selection requirements for inclusion in the Wave report because of these requirements. The report also notes that for companies with high internal Web conferencing needs, purchasing, integrating, and operating a server internally is often the most cost-effective scenario. Although the current market is equally strong between hosted and installed solutions, Forrester expects that the installed Web conferencing solutions will outpace the hosted model in the next three years as conferencing continues to become a must-have for information workers.
