iLinc Positioned in Visionaries Quadrant for Web Conferencing

Web Conferencing to be Available to 75% of Corporate Users by 2010

PHOENIX, Arizona (May 25, 2007) –

iLinc Communications, Inc. (AMEX:ILC), developers of Web conferencing software and audio conferencing solutions, today announced that it has been positioned in the “Visionaries” quadrant in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Web Conferencing, 2007. ¹

According to Gartner, “We evaluated the completeness of vision by looking at how the products align with how users want to use and buy them. To evaluate vendors’ marketing and product strategies, we looked at how they position their products and whether the products adequately address the chosen positioning. Flexibility to support SaaS and on-premise deployment was rated higher than a strategy of concentrating on one model only. We also evaluated vendors’ product innovation and ability to address trends we expect to see in the Web conferencing market.”

“iLinc is one of the very few that offers a unique hybrid license model. That model lets organizations either host iLinc behind their firewall or have iLinc host it for them, all while enjoying the return-on-investment provided by a software purchase license,” commented James M. Powers, Jr., iLinc’s Chairman, President, and CEO. “While the market shifts from the more prevalent SaaS toward the customer-hosted model, iLinc offers either option, meaning our customers and iLinc win either way. We truly have sustainable competitive advantages not offered by our peers that give us confidence in this vibrant Web conferencing market,” concluded Dr. Powers.

The report also indicated that, “By 2010, Web conferencing will be available to 75% of corporate users as a standard facility.” And that, “Although the greatest benefits generally come from increased collaboration (including meetings that would not have occurred if the online option were not available), the high cost of business travel, and travel restrictions due to security or health concerns, are major drivers for increased [use of] Web conferencing.”

“We believe that we are very well positioned in this high growth market that shows no signs of slowing,” added Dr. Powers. “From our vantage point, more and more organizations view Web conferencing as a core communication tool, along side email and the telephone, with many organizations standardizing on enterprise capable products like those offered by iLinc. We offer a solution that integrates seamlessly with other business communications tools and simply put, makes workers more productive in their daily tasks.”
