With the new integrations of iLinc Web conferencing and salesforce.com’s on-demand CRM applications, marketing professionals can simplify campaign management for marketing Web events and sales professionals can record important Web meeting presentation information automatically from iLinc into Salesforce.

With the new iLinc Marketing Integration for salesforce.com, campaigns can be created in Salesforce and linked together with iLinc Web events, such that contacts can be invited to the event through a Salesforce email. When contacts register for the Web event, the integration automatically updates missing contact information in Salesforce such as address or phone number. If the email invitation has been forwarded to someone not currently within Salesforce and they register for the Web event, that person is automatically created as a new lead in the application. Importantly, within minutes after completion of the Webinar, all invitees that attended the event are updated with an Activity History that details if they attended the event and how long they stayed. Taking advantage of the integration, customers of salesforce.com may instantly streamline the process of managing webinars and tracking leads, thereby shortening the sales cycle.

The second integration, called the iLinc Sales Integration for salesforce.com, enables the sales team to instantly bring leads or contacts into a Web meeting for online sales presentations with one click. The integration captures all of the contacts that attend the presentation and creates an Activity History detailing who was part of the session and how long they stayed.
