iLinc Communications, Inc. (AMEX:ILC), developers of Web conferencing software and audio conferencing solutions, today announced that Jason Walker joined iLinc as its new Vice President of Sales, significantly strengthening iLinc’s direct sales leadership.

Mr. Walker has over 13 years of sales experience in the software and telecommunications industry. He recently left Sage Software to join iLinc after serving three years as Sage’s Director of ACT! Corporate Sales. Sage Software (formerly Best Software) serves small and medium companies with revenues $5 million to $100 million and offers brands that include Peachtree, ACT!, SalesLogix and Sage ERP, to more than 2.6 million North American small and medium-sized businesses. While with Sage Mr. Walker increased ACT! sales significantly, was responsible for closing the largest transaction in Act!’s sales history, and over achieved revenue quotas three years running. Prior to Sage, he was Director of Sales Operations for Cyclone Commerce, based in Scottsdale, Arizona, a supply chain management software company.
