* The winning K-12 schools were honored for their implementation of innovative math and science programs that prepare students for 21st century jobs. They include:
o “Star Innovator” Illinois Mathematics & Science Academy in Aurora, Illinois
o Cedar Park Elementary STEM School in Trumann, Arkansas
o Lynn English High School in Lynn, Massachusetts
o Oakcliff Elementary School in Doraville, Georgia
o Palm Desert Charter Middle School in Palm Desert, California
o Urban Assembly for Applied Math and Science in Bronx, New York
* The Intel Foundation and sponsoring companies, like Elluminate, will distribute more than $1.3 million USD in cash, products, and services to the winning schools.
