* Elluminate, Inc., a leading provider of live eLearning and web collaboration solutions and ANGEL® Learning, a recognized innovator of enterprise eLearning software and services, announced today an initiative to integrate the Elluminate Live!® virtual classroom environment with the ANGEL Learning Management Suite.
* Seamless integration of Elluminate technology with ANGEL will enable ANGEL users to easily add synchronous distance learning and collaboration to course work. On an organizational level, the integration will allow institutions to leverage existing technology investments, increase enrollment, and improve student outcomes.
* The integration will enable users to perform the following activities from within their familiar ANGEL environment, with no additional IDs or passwords required.
o Schedule and attend Elluminate Live! sessions
o Store and view Elluminate Live! interactive recordings
o Access reports on session attendance and recording viewing
o Configure ANGEL role mapping to Elluminate’s roles and capabilities
o Integrate sessions into the ANGEL calendar
* Elluminate will preview the integration, which includes access to shared interactive whiteboard, two-way voice over the Internet, high-resolution video, interactive whiteboard, application sharing, web tour, and public/private chat capabilities, from within the ANGEL LMS at the ANGEL User Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 19-21, 2008.
