ReadyTalk Ranked Among Denver’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies
Web seminar company achieves triple-digit growth to land on Denver Business Journal list
DENVER, Colo. September 26, 2007 ReadyTalk, a company dedicated to providing the absolute best customer experience for high-impact web seminars and everyday collaboration and conferencing, has been named to the Denver Business Journal’s (DBJ) 2007 list of the Fastest Growing Denver-Area Private Companies in the medium-sized companies category. This adds another honor to the company’s 2007 achievements as it also was recently ranked number one on the list of the Best Companies to Work for in Colorado in the small/medium-sized companies category.
The Fastest Growing Denver-Area Private Companies list was compiled based on participating companies’ annual revenues from 2004-2006. ReadyTalk experienced 147 percent growth during that time period which placed them 15th on the list of the top 25 fastest-growing medium sized companies in the Denver area.
“Our employees work very hard to ensure that we continue to deliver the best possible experience for our customers,” said Dan King, CEO of ReadyTalk. “It’s great to be recognized in this way and to be counted among other companies who are focused on building and maintaining growth-oriented, yet sustainable businesses.”
ReadyTalk has achieved such spectacular growth by focusing on large online events; an often overlooked segment of the marketplace. Large online events, or webinars, require a higher degree of service and expertise than most companies are willing to provide. By catering to this segment with a dedicated event staff and an upcoming product release, ReadyTalk has been able to distinguish itself within a crowded market.
This year, the DBJ’s Fastest Growing Denver-Area Private Companies list awarded small, medium and large fastest-growing companies. Size was determined by looking at a company’s 2006 revenues and deciding on a median number of all companies responding to the survey. Companies with less than $3.3 million revenue were considered in the small-company category; between $3.3 million and $11.48 million were medium companies; and the large companies had revenue of more than $11.48 million. To be eligible for consideration, companies’ headquarters must be maintained in one of the following Colorado counties: Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas and Jefferson.
