Collaborative Platform Allows Users Enhanced Access and Control over Convergence Communications Capabilities

REDWOOD SHORES and SANTA CLARA, Calif., November 16, 2006—LiteScape Technologies, a leader in unified communication applications, and WebEx (Nasdaq: WEBX), the leading provider of collaborative software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications, today announced the LiteScape OnCast solution will be available through WebEx Connect. LiteScape enhances the value of IP-based networks by facilitating collaboration with an IP Telephony broadcast solution that interacts with desktop directories and calendars to provide quick and simple access to network directories across multiple locations and clusters. Together with WebEx Connect users will experience unprecedented access and control over both their contacts and online collaborative sessions.

LiteScape’s unified communication applications permit organizations to efficiently deliver multi-modal messages for emergency, security and general announcements from a variety of devices and a collection of IP end points. OnCast will enable WebEx Connect users to search all network directories, and when used with Microsoft Outlook, send and accept invitations from IP phones to organize and join WebEx collaborative sessions.
