Citrix Online Announces New Services to Help SMBs Raise the Bar on Innovation and Competition

Collaboration Services Can Fundamentally Shift Economics of SMBs, Enabling Them to Succeed as Never before Possible

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – July 9, 2008 – Citrix Online, a division of Citrix Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTXS), today extended its leadership in the SMB market for online collaboration technologies by releasing the latest versions of Citrix® GoToMeeting® and Citrix® GoToWebinar™. It also announced that the upcoming Citrix® GoToAssist Express®, currently in public beta, is scheduled to be released this fall for an all-inclusive flat fee as low as $55 per month, plus an innovative new option: a 24-hour “day pass” for $9.95.

The announcements emphasize Citrix Online’s market momentum and commitment to delivering innovative, affordable and easy-to-use collaboration solutions that offer SMBs a critical advantage in a challenging business environment.

“With our services, SMBs can fundamentally change the economics of their business,” said Brett Caine, general manager, Citrix Online. “Online collaboration allows them to extend their reach into new markets and regions, slash travel costs, simplify training and support, and improve customer service. It’s extremely rewarding when our customers tell us how our innovative approach to online meetings and support is helping them to innovate and drive their businesses forward.”

The new product releases enable Citrix Online to build on an enviable track record.

•Market research firm Frost & Sullivan reported that Citrix Online’s collaboration services are growing four-to-five times faster than category market leaders – making it a top three provider of web conferencing software as a service. Frost & Sullivan says that the company’s solid execution and marketing are not only growing the market, but also steadily chipping at Cisco WebEx’s and Microsoft’s market shares.

•According to IDC, Citrix® GoToMyPC®, was able to maintain its dominance in revenue in the remote access services market with 90.9% share for 2006. (Source: IDC, Worldwide Remote Access Services Software 2007-2011 Forecast & 2006 Vendor Shares, Doc #210075, December 2007.)

•Citrix Online’s strong growth in collaboration is driving record performance, with revenues growing to more than $200 million in 2007.

“Citrix Online has developed solutions from the ground up to meet the needs of the diverse SMB market, and that’s one reason why its products are so well received,” said Laurie McCabe, Vice President, SMB Insights & Solutions, for AMI-Partners. “By continuing to develop innovative solutions with affordable pricing plans, Citrix Online has the potential to build on its SMB market momentum as the right company with the right products at the right time.”

The newest releases from Citrix Online meet those standards. GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar feature free unlimited VoIP and audio conferencing, new capabilities designed specifically for Mac users, and enhanced Webinar planning and management tools. Both products make it significantly easier for SMBs to conduct online meetings from any location. GoToAssist Express, meanwhile, effectively creates a new market by enabling IT support professionals to offer affordable, easy-to-use remote support while reducing travel time and lowering costs.
